On June 5, at the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Argentina, teachers from the SFedU International Institute of Interdisciplinary Education and Ibero-American Studies presented methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language to their Argentine colleagues.
The speakers of the master class were associate Professor Sabina Kerimova and teacher Valeria Makeeva.
During the meeting, representatives of SFedU shared their experience of working with a Spanish-speaking audience and presented methodological developments of the Department of Russian as a foreign language and methods of teaching it. Special attention was paid to electronic audiovisual courses designed for Russian language learners in a Spanish-speaking environment.
The participants got acquainted with the textbooks prepared by the university teachers. The Argentine colleagues noted the relevance of these materials and talked about their use in educational practice.
The master class was another step in the development of international academic cooperation and the strengthening of professional ties between Russian language teachers from Russia and Argentina.
