Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities (RKKTU)

The Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities (RKКTU) was established in 2013 based on the decisions of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Humanitarian Cooperation. Southern Federal University is a member of the consortium from 2019.

The Board is co-chaired by the rectors of National Research University MPEI and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

36 higher education institutions in Russia and 15 higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan are members of the RKKTU, which co-operate in educational and scientific activities.

In 2020, two agreements were signed between the Institute of Radioengineering Systems and Control of SFEdu and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov within the framework of the RKKTU. The agreements are aimed at implementing joint Master's and Bachelor's degree programmes.
