
From March 13 to March 15, the Southern Federal University hosts the International Scientific Conference "Management Technologies in the Modern Economy: Trends and Prospects."
The purpose of the conference was to systematize and discuss the results of international socio-economic and humanitarian research in the field of sustainable economic development management and finance in the modern international and all-Russian scientific space.
On March 13, the Conference started in the hall of the Academic Council of the Southern Federal University.
The conference was opened by Anatoly Metelitsa, First Vice-Rector of SFedU, who noted the international nature and relevance of the issues discussed in the field of sustainable economic and financial development. Anatoly Viktorovich also stressed the need for constant analysis and discussion of current problems caused by changes in the global economy and politics. The Vice-Rector drew special attention to the role of students in the future of science, arguing that they will form new scientific approaches and methods of interpreting facts.
"People don't do science just for fun. This is an opportunity to discover something new, reconsider your views and share these discoveries with the whole world. This is the true value of scientific research," concluded the first Vice–rector.
Marina Borovskaya, President of SFedU, emphasized the key role of science in the educational ecosystem and stressed the importance of maintaining the link between education and scientific achievements. She pointed out the need to create this connection to ensure high-quality professional growth and technology development. Marina Alexandrovna also focused on the task of finding tools for synergy between higher and professional education, taking into account the influence of artificial intelligence on modern processes.
The conference brought together representatives of leading educational and scientific institutions from various regions of Russia and abroad. Among the participants were such well-known universities as the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Moscow), St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Donskoy State Technical University and Tomsk State University. International participation was provided by the Institute of Serbian Culture (Serbia), as well as several Chinese universities, including Taishan University, Harbin University of Finance, Henan Institute of Technology, Shenyang University of Technology and Shandong Transport University.
Over the course of three days, the conference hosts five thematic sections aimed at developing management in the context of digitalization, management technologies and financial economics, economic management and the promotion of socio-economic development strategies.
The discussion of topical issues of management and sustainable economic development at the conference sections will make it possible to develop effective strategies that promote progress both in the scientific community and in practice. The participants note the high importance of the event for strengthening international cooperation and express confidence that the results of the conference will be used in the implementation of promising projects.
