The International Conference "Mixed Type Equations and Related Problems of Modern Analysis" was held on March 11-14 at the IPMA KBSC RAS in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Russia.
The Mathematical Center of the RSEMC SFedU co-organized the conference along with Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov (Nalchik, Russia), Novosibirsk State University (Novosibirsk, Russia), Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling (Almaty, Kazakhstan), V. I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) and Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).
The conference was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding scientist in the field of mathematics and mechanics, Doctor of physico-mathematical and technical sciences, Professor Felix Isidorovich Frankl and was held within the framework of the Decade of science and technology announced in Russia in 2022-2031.
During the conference, current problems and the current state of scientific research in the field of boundary value problems for differential equations of basic and mixed types, fractional calculus, functional analysis and theory of functions, and mathematical modeling were considered. Following the results of the Conference, it is planned to publish selected papers in a special issue of the Journal of Mathematical Sciences (editor-in-chief - A.N.Karapetyants) and in the Vladikavkaz Mathematical Journal.
Alexey Karapetyants, Professor of the Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science and Director of the SFedU Scientific Research Center, addressed the conference participants and delivered a plenary lecture. SFedU representatives Evelyn Morales and Lady Estefania Murcia Lozano also made presentations.
