The largest programming and modern information technologies forum in the South of Russia will be held at the Institute of Computer Technology and Information Security from March 21 to April 26 at the Department of Mathematical Software and Computer Applications.
Traditionally, the ContestSFedU-2026 competition program includes several individual and team programming tournaments. For the first time in 2026, an Artificial Intelligence Tournament is included in the championship program. The competitions are aimed at participants of different age categories and fitness levels (schoolchildren, students, professionals) and are held in two stages:
qualifying (March 21-29) in remote format;
The final (April 24-26) will be held face–to-face at the SFedU site in Taganrog (for the Schoolchildren's Tournament and at additional sites).
The ContestSFedU Championship is the largest event in the field of competitive programming in the South of Russia! Every year, more than 500 participants from universities, colleges, schools and IT companies from 5-6 federal districts of Russia and neighboring countries take part in the qualifying round. As a rule, 150-200 participants with the best results are invited to the final round of all tournaments.
The ContestSFedU-2026 Championship Tournament is included in the List of Olympiads and other intellectual and (or) creative competitions, events aimed at developing intellectual and creative abilities, abilities to engage in physical education and sports, interest in scientific (research), engineering, inventive, creative, physical culture and sports activities, as well as the promotion of scientific knowledge, creative and sporting achievements of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
Students of the Southern Federal University, graduates and future applicants are invited to participate in the Championship tournaments.
