The discussion took place within the framework of the All-Russian Youth Forum of IT Technologies "CHIP".
On August 26, a plenary session "Digital Sovereignty of Russia in the modern world" was held at the ITA site of the SFedU. The discussion was attended by Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Artem Khokhlov, Adviser to the Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Egor Litvinenko, Minister of Digital Development, Information Technology and Communications of the Rostov Region Evgeny Poluyanov, Rector of the SFedU Inna Shevchenko.
The Rector of SFedU Inna Shevchenko in her welcoming speech noted that today's hype around IT specialists is justified and should be perceived as a challenge. It is impossible to talk about the technological sovereignty of the country without systematic training of engineers in various fields: in the field of RTK and control processes; ECB, micro- and nanoelectronics; 4G - 6G communication technologies; information and intelligent systems, as well as without the use of modern approaches and the participation of industrial partners in the educational process.
During the meeting, the guests of the event heard four reports. Maxim Bolotov, president of the Association of Developers of Digital Solutions BRAINHORN, spoke about the synergetic development of the Don IT agglomeration as the foundation of technological sovereignty. Alexander Bukurov, CEO of Web Practice, highlighted the topic "Human resource development as a tool to ensure the digital sovereignty of the country."
Anton Kumov, Deputy director of SFedU Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security, summed up the results of the track "Enter IT" in the framework of "FEATURE". He noted that for Taganrog, as for the IT capital of Russia, some projects invented by programmers are city-forming.
Andrey Batrimenko, Director of the Rostec Academy's New Product Development Center, spoke about the results of the Startupers track. According to him, of the entire labor market, it is the sphere of innovation that is the most promising for development, since fundamentally new products have always been the answer to global challenges. One innovator developing CNC machines facilitates the work of thousands of people in factories.
"Russia needs entrepreneurs! Not only private businessmen, but also internal entrepreneurs in large corporations and public institutions, including universities. These enterprising people with business thinking create new products, cool websites and even educational programs," Andrey Batrimenko shared.
The All-Russian Youth Forum of IT Technologies "CHIP" is not just an event that took place on the site of the Southern Federal University for three days. This is the result of the active work of more than 500 people and a new useful IT product. This idea was confirmed by Maxim Bolotov, president of the Association of Developers of Digital Solutions "Brainhorn". He presented the final product of the forum, namely the mvp (minimally finished product) of a digital platform that will work as a battery of ideas to improve people's lives. On this platform, you can either offer your ideas and find like-minded people who are interested in your topic, or join another team and help in the implementation of their product.
According to Maxim Bolotov, the participants of the "CHIPS" can already leave their ideas on the platform and thereby lay the foundation for a large all-Russian project.
