The championship consisted of four correspondence stages and a final stage with a rocket launch in the city of Chekhov near Moscow.

The participants of the championship were invited throughout the year to design their own solid–fuel rocket, which should save itself at launch (by timely opening of the parachute) and release a payload (in the form of a nanosatellite) with a parachute at a given height (120 m) - a real prototype launch vehicle.

38 teams of more than 780 people from 24 regions of Russia took part in the championship final. During the championship finals, about 90 solid-fuel and hydropneumatic rockets were launched from the Malino airfield and the Goodwin camp in the Moscow Region.

The winners of the Jet Propulsion 2025 championship in the direction of Solid-fuel rockets of the 2nd stage were a team from the SFedU "Kosmiki", which included: Valery Mamzurin (I.I. Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science) and Andrey Zhigalkin (Faculty of Physics).

The guys designed the Juicy Carrot rocket, which brought the silver medal of the championship. The rocket fulfilled its mission with dignity: it took off smoothly and steadily to 142 meters, opened its parachute and, in the process of a soft descent at an altitude of 119.8 meters, released a payload that also fulfilled its mission. The ground-based radio station managed to receive high-quality telemetry with altitude and acceleration data, which will help in flight analysis.

Also, the organizers of the championship (MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics) invited the guys in advance to repeat the result a year later in a professional league with a more difficult task.
