In his report, Academician Viktor Sadovnichy demonstrated strategies for the development of education in the Russian Federation and current issues of higher school development. Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov presented the key directions of the strategy until 2036.

Marina Borovskaya, President of the Southern Federal University, noted the need to eliminate regional disparities, teacher shortages and the development of digital infrastructure. Special attention is paid to patriotic education, support for gifted children and the integration of science into the educational process.

The meeting of the RUR Council was an important step in defining long-term guidelines for the Russian education system. The participants expressed confidence that the implementation of the strategy would strengthen Russia's position on the world stage, ensure a technological breakthrough and create conditions for the education of a generation capable of responding to modern challenges.
