Southern Federal University was part of a delegation of leading Russian universities that took part in the Russian national exposition at the China Education Expo (CEE) international exhibition in Beijing.
The event, which took place from October 31 to November 1, is the largest in Southeast Asia and brought together hundreds of educational organizations from 38 countries.
The Russian exposition, which brought together 20 universities, became one of the most visited at the exhibition. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, SFedU presented its educational programs to Chinese applicants, parents, and recruiting agencies.

In addition to working at the exhibition stand, the SFedU team, consisting of Maxim Bondarev, Vice Rector for Projects and Foreign Affairs, Song Chenxi, SFedU Ambassador to China, as well as graduates and students of the university, took part in the specialized event "Day of Russian Universities" organized by Rossotrudnichestvo at the Russian Cultural Center. The program included methodological seminars, presentations and individual consultations on the prospects of Russian-Chinese educational cooperation and the specifics of admission of foreign students.

"Participation in the exhibition confirmed the high interest in Russian higher education in China. As noted at the events, the number of Chinese students in Russia is steadily growing, and the common goal of the two countries is to increase the number of student exchanges to 100,000 by 2030. As a leading university in the South of Russia, SFedU is making a significant contribution to achieving this ambitious goal by strengthening academic and scientific ties with partners from China," commented Maxim Bondarev, Vice Rector for Projects and Foreign Affairs.
