This year, according to the results of the final tests, Kirill Sklyarov and Dzhambul Gojaev, 4th–year undergraduate students of the SFedU Faculty of Economics, became the winners.

The V International Olympiad on Financial Security has ended in Krasnoyarsk on the basis of the Siberian Federal University. This large-scale event is being held on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and is aimed at improving the financial and legal literacy of young people, as well as at finding talented specialists in this field.

About 600 schoolchildren and students from 40 countries took part in the final of the Olympiad, which took place from September 29 to October 3. According to the results of the competition, among the winners and prize–winners are students of the Faculty of Economics of the Southern Federal University.

Kirill Sklyarov, a 4th-year undergraduate student in Economics, was among the winners, bringing the highest award of this prestigious Olympiad to the Rostov Region and the University for the first time. Another 4th-year undergraduate student in Economics, Dzhambul Gojaev, became the winner, confirming the high level of training at the Faculty of Economics of the Southern Federal University.

The results of the Olympiad were announced at a meeting of the organizing committee chaired by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation. The event was also attended by Yuri Chikhanchin, Director of Rosfinmonitoring, Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Dmitry Afanasyev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, and other officials.

During the final week, a rich program was organized for the participants: panel discussions, master classes, the international forum "Financial Security in the era of new Technologies: threats and Solutions", as well as cultural and sports events.

The victory of the students of the SFedU Faculty of Economics in the Olympiad of this level demonstrates the effectiveness of educational programs and the significant contribution of the university to the training of highly qualified personnel to ensure the financial security of the country.
