The delegation included Mikhail Karyakin, Director of the I.I. Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science, Elena Zashchitina, Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute of Management in Economic, Environmental and Social Systems, Zhang Jingwei, trusted representative of the SFedU for cooperation with Chinese organizations and Chairman of the One Way Center for Eurasian Humanitarian Cooperation, Qiao Tingting, an employee of the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the SFedU.

During the meetings with the leadership of Shandong University of Management (Jinan), Henan University of Finance, Economics and Law (Zhengzhou) and Shangqiu Pedagogical University (Shangqiu), an agreement was reached on holding joint summer schools, intensifying academic exchanges, and developing joint educational programs.

An important part of the trip was a meeting with students currently studying at Henan University of Finance, Economics and Law (Zhengzhou) in joint bachelor's degree programs with Southern Federal University in Fundamental Computer Science and Information Technology, Business Informatics (E-Business) and Trade (International Trade). The signing of an additional agreement on changing the "2+2" to "1+3" model will allow more than thirty students to come to Russia in September this year to continue their studies at the I. I. Vorovich Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science and the Institute of Management in Economic, Environmental and Social Systems of the Southern Federal University.

Mikhail Karjakin presented the Southern Federal University and joint programs with Henan University of Finance, Economics and Law at the International Bachelor's Degree Seminar, which is held for all international partners, agencies and media representatives.

Agreements on the opening of Russian language, cultural and educational centers were signed with the First Secondary School of the Senior level of Zhecheng County (Shangqiu) and Pingyuanyudian Secondary Special Educational Institution of Zhengzhou city. The work of these centers, carried out with the participation of the One Way Center for Eurasian Humanitarian Cooperation, LLC, will allow high school students of Chinese schools to study Russian as a foreign language instead of English and enroll in Russian universities without studying at the preparatory department.

The delegation of the Southern Federal University also took part in the meeting of the initiative group of Chinese graduates and partners, which decided to create the SFedU Alumni Association in China. Among the plans of this organization are not only to promote further communication and support of graduates, but also, using the capabilities of the SFedU Endowment Fund, to help students from China in their studies and professional development.

This trip made a significant contribution to strengthening existing ties with Chinese educational organizations and agreeing on new plans and projects for cooperation that will attract the most talented and motivated Chinese students to Southern Federal University, expand programs for bilateral academic exchange of students and university staff and, as a result, a pool of joint scientific research. All this will contribute to the further promotion of the Russian language and Russian culture in China, as well as the mutual development of Chinese educational institutions and the Southern Federal University.
