The Southern Federal University athletics team demonstrated a high level of preparation at the Rostov Region Student Championship, winning 9 medals: 1 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze.

Winners and prize-winners from SFedU:

Artyom Vorobyov — gold in the pole vault discipline;

Bogdan Abibulaev — silver in shot put and bronze in high jump;

Anton Bodrov — silver in the 1500-meter race;

Anastasia Inozemtseva — bronze in the 400 meters;

Lilia Nedelcheva — bronze in the shot put and bronze in the 800-meter run;

Relay 4 × 200 meters (Litvinchuk Ilya, Bugrov Oleg, Pavlov Egor, Tuesnikov Artem) — bronze medal.
