SFedU hosted a table tennis tournament as part of the SFedU Students' Spartakiad – 2025

On April 13, a table tennis tournament was held in the gymnasium of the Institute of Earth Sciences as part of the SFedU 2025 Student Sports Contest.

The competition was held in a tense atmosphere, and the support of the fans gave the participants an additional boost of energy. There was a serious struggle in the individual championship among young men. As a result, Maxim Grichenenko (Institute of Computer Sciences ad Information Security) won a well-deserved victory, showing excellent technique and tactical thinking. Dmitry Yartsev (Academy of Physical Culture and Sports) took the second place, and Ilya Golovkov (Institute of Earth Sciences) won the bronze.

The girls' gold medal was won by Romanok Camilla (Institute of tourism, services and creative industries), who demonstrated a confident game and the will to win. Sofia Buinitskaya (Institute of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication) became the silver medalist, and Zhanna Britvina (Institute of Radio Engineering Systems and Control) rose to the third step of the podium.

The Sports Development Department together with activists of the SFedU Student Sports Club acted as organizers.
