The team of the Southern Federal University was brilliantly represented by Seidametov Dzhemil, who became a bronze medalist in the kumite discipline (full-contact duels) and a finalist in the card discipline.

Dzhemil demonstrated exceptional skill, endurance and fighting spirit, for which he was awarded a medal and commemorative awards of the tournament. These high results were the natural result of many years of professional training with the support of the university.

Athlete training is carried out under the guidance of Oleg Zakharov, a coach of the highest category, associate professor of the Department of Sports Disciplines at the SFedU Academy of Physical Culture and Sports. The university has created all conditions for the training of international athletes.
