The tournament was attended by students and a representative of the structural units. The participants, demonstrating a high level of skill, played exciting games. In the chess tournament, cups and medals were awarded among men, women and in the team championship. The seats were distributed as follows:

Men:

I place – Maxim Alpin (Institute of Earth Sciences);

II place – Alexander Egorov (Faculty of Economics);

III place – Artyom Kirpilev (Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science).

Women:

1st place – Ekaterina Donchenko (Academy of Biology and Biotechnology);

II place – Maria Yevtushenko (Institute of History and International Relations);

III place – Marina Mangutova (Institute of History and International Relations).

Team competition:

I place – Institute of History and International Relations;

II place – Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science;

III place – Institute of Earth Sciences.

The Sports Development Department of the  Academy of Physical Culture and Sport together with activists of the SFedU Student Sports Club acted as organizers.
