The exhibition features works by students of the Department of Fundamentals of Architectural and Artistic Design of the Academy of Architecture and Arts and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

This is a joint project initiated by Lyudmila Kartasheva, Head of the Department of Architecture, PhD in Architecture, Associate Professor. It is aimed primarily at developing cooperation between the architectural schools of the Academy of Architecture and Arts and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia in the scientific and educational practice of solving spatial problems of architectural activity and identifying the best solutions to this problem in the projects of the organization of an open the spaces of SFedU students and the organization of the relationship between internal and external space in the projects of NUASA students.

By the way, in 2018, the first exhibition and competition of projects of two scientific and educational architectural schools was organized (see here https://sfedu.ru/www/stat_pages22.show?p=PR/news1/D&params =(p_nws_id=%3E55957).

This year, the exhibition-competition dedicated to the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the foundation of the SFedU was held with the support of the Southern Architectural Society of the Union of Architects of Russia, as well as the Union of Architects of the Republic of Armenia.

Anatoly Metelitsa, Acting First Vice-rector of SFedU, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Vitaly Kolesnik, Chairman of the Union of Artists of Russia, Adviser to the SFedU Rector's Office, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honorary Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, opened the exhibition. Head of the Department of OAKHP, Candidate of Architecture, Associate Professor Lyudmila Kartasheva, Director of the creative workshop "NEW ATTIC", GAP, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Architecture Vladimir Kiryaziev.

The honored guests of the exhibition "Architectural Space: Perception, interrelation of spaces, love of place", Head of the Department of History of Architecture, Art and Architectural Restoration, Doctor of Architecture, Associate Professor Anna Ivanova–Ilyicheva, Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Fine Arts Nikolay Orekhov, Associate Professor of the Department, also shared their impressions and emotions after exploring the exposition. At the end of the exhibition, the jury of the two universities summed up the results and determined the names of the winners of the competition for the best architectural student project.
