
On March 8, the Russian Kyokushin Cup ended in Moscow, where the national team of the Southern Federal University showed outstanding results.
Students of the SFedU Academy of Physical Culture and Sports — Dzhemil Siydametov, Yuri Ivashchenko and Nadezhda Muravyeva — entered the finals of the kata group competition.
The tournament brought together the best athletes from all over the country, from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk. Among the participants were champions of Russia, Europe, winners of the championships of Russia, Europe and the world, as well as prize-winners of international competitions. Despite the high level of competition, the SFedU national team took part in a tournament of this scale for the first time and demonstrated a decent result. Prepares SFedU students – O.Y. This success became a significant event for the university's sports life and confirmed the high level of training of SFedU students. The SFedU team continues to actively develop kyokushin and strives for new achievements in the national and international arenas.
