
From May 30 to June 1, Moscow hosted the prestigious International Aikido Games, which brought together 110 participants from 21 countries and 25 regions of Russia.
Andrey Naboka, a 1st-year student at the Academy of Physical Culture and Sports of the Southern Federal University, took 37th place in the overall standings, which is a good result at such a high-level competition.
Despite the high competition, Andrey demonstrated technical mastery of Aikido, self-control and the will to win. His performance was the result of diligent training, mentoring of coaches and university support.
The International Aikido Games is a prestigious tournament that unites masters of this martial art from all over the world. Participation in such competitions is an important experience for the growth of an athlete and an opportunity to make himself known internationally.
