The delegation of the RSEMC SFedU took part in the International Scientific Conference in North Ossetia

7 июля 2025 г.

From June 29 to July 5, the village of Dzinaga hosted the International Scientific Conference "Ordinal Analysis and Related issues of Mathematical Modeling, XVIII: Theory of Operators and Differential Equations", co-organized by the Southern Federal University.

The main purpose of the conference is to develop the scientific potential of the South of Russia in the field of fundamental and applied mathematics, strengthen integration ties with Russian and foreign colleagues, attract talented young people and educate a new generation of researchers.

The conference was held in 4 sections: "Functional spaces and operator theory", "Mathematical modeling", "Modern problems of mathematical education", "Differential and integral equations".

The conference was attended by leading scientists from 13 countries and 29 regions of Russia.

The plenary lecture "Homogeneous operators: a general theory and one unique two-dimensional operator" was delivered by Professor   of the Institute for Mathematics, Mechanics, Director of the Russian Scientific Research Center, Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, A.N. Karapetyants, a leading researcher at the Russian Scientific Research Center of the Southern Federal University Z.A. Kusraeva delivered a plenary lecture "Disjointness preserving homogeneous polynomials in vector lattices". As part of the section "Functional Spaces and Operator Theory", D.B. Rokhlin, a leading researcher at the SFedU Russian Scientific Research Center, delivered a report "Random feature-based conversion of the Vovk-Azoury-Warmuth algorithms". In the same section, the laboratory assistants of the RSEMC SFedU made presentations: a student of the Institute for Mathematics, Mechanics, and Computer Science named after Vorovich Elena Danelian with a report "Hausdorff operators on an interval in some new functional spaces" and a graduate student of the Institute for Mathematics, Mechanics, and Computer Science Evelyn Morales with a report "Hadamard-Bergman type operators in Lebesgue and Bergman weight spaces". The report "Toeplitz Operators with Vertical Symbols" was delivered by a student from Palestine, Saeed Basheer, who conducts scientific work under the supervision of A.N. Karapetyants. In the section "Differential and Integral equations", the report "An approach for solving direct and inverse transmission eigenvalue problems with variable spherically symmetric refractive indices" was delivered by Estefania Murcia, a young scientist (PhD) from the CINESTAV Research Institute (Mexico), who arrived for a scientific internship at SFedU.
