A working meeting was held at the Southern Federal University, which was attended by Evgeny Mukhanov, Vice Rector for Strategic Development and Research at SFedU. Irina Rodina, Deputy Head of SFedU International Relations Office, Ekaterina Korman, Deputy Director of the Advanced Engineering School "Cyberplatform Engineering" at SFedU, Angelica Song, General Director of Naruhito International Cultural Community LLC, An Xin, graduate of the Master's degree Program at SFedU, as well as Dr. Zhai Ruizhan, Deputy Director of the Laser Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province (China) and Dr. Wang Zhaowei, Head of the International Department of Qilu University of Technology (China).

Since 2022, Southern Federal University has been actively developing cooperation with the Laser Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province and the Qilu University of Technology. Over the past three years, leading scientists at the Institute of Nanotechnology, Electronics and Instrumentation of the Southern Federal University, led by Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Oleg Ageev, have been visiting professors at the Laser Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province.

University cooperation meets the objectives of the federal program "Priority 2030", namely the implementation of the strategic project of the SFedU "Technologies of multifunctional microelectronics and intelligent sensors for biohybrid and cyberphysical systems".

Dr. Zhai Ruizhan, Deputy Director of the Laser Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, thanked the SFedU for the warm welcome and expressed his best wishes for the successful development of the university.

"Southern Federal University has made an indelible impression on us with its large-scale scientific activities and innovative approaches in education and training. We would like to start implementing a joint master's degree program as soon as possible and start international academic exchanges between students and teachers. We are also very interested in conducting joint scientific research and developing joint postgraduate programs," said Zhai Ruizhan.

The Chinese delegation also visited the Taganrog SFedU campus. During the negotiations with Alexander Fedotov, Director of the SFedU Advanced Engineering School, issues of scientific and academic cooperation were discussed: a plan for joint research, organization of scientific exchanges and internships, development of joint postgraduate and continuing professional education programs.

Dr. Zhai Ruizhan and Dr. Wang Zhaowei met with the leaders of scientific groups at the SFedU University, and also visited the hermetic chambers, educational spaces and scientific laboratories of the Advanced Engineering School.

The visit resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Qilu University of Technology and the Southern Federal University for the implementation of a joint master's degree program in the field of Design and Technology of electronic Means.
