
On February 7, on the eve of the Day of Russian Science, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the national Vice-rector of the Year award for research work of the scientific professorial forum.
On January 30, a meeting of the commission for awarding the national award "Vice-Rector of the Year for Research Work" from the Russian Professorial Assembly (RPA) was held, which was attended by the President of the Southern Federal University Marina Borovskaya.
Anatoly Metelitsa, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Research Activities of the Southern Federal University, became the winner of the award in the nomination "Classical University". Anatoly Viktorovich heads the Research Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of the Southern Federal University. He is also an expert of the RFBR and the Russian Academy of Sciences. Anatoly Viktorovich has presented more than 200 reports at Russian and international conferences and more than 200 scientific papers have been published in Russian and foreign journals.
The National Prize of the Scientific Professorial Forum was established in order to preserve and further develop the scientific potential of Russian higher educational institutions, stimulate scientific and technical development and encourage vice-rectors for research work.
