On February 15th, the ‘SFedU Boiling Point’ hosted the Partner Day, an event designed to inform students about available student exchange programs and scholarship opportunities for studying abroad.
During the event, SFedU students received guidance on applying for study programs at foreign universities from experts at the Center for International Projects and Programs within the International Office. They also heard directly from graduate students who had participated in exchange programs and representatives from partner universities.
Maxim Bondarev, SFedU Vice-Rector for Projects and International Affairs, welcomed attendees and emphasized the significance of events like the Partner Day. He noted that the foreign universities represented had proven to be reliable SFedU partners in academic exchange. Participation in these programs, VR explained, allows SFedU students to immerse themselves in international academic culture, experience diverse linguistic perspectives, and embrace the traditions of other countries.
Nadezhda Klyuchko, SFedU International Mobility Coordinator, detailed the scholarship support available for exchange studies, as well as the necessary documentation for studying abroad.
The Partner Day facilitated international experience exchange as approximately 100 SFedU students discovered opportunities and key features related to academic exchange at universities across Southeast Asia, the CIS, Serbia, Brazil, China, Turkey, and India. A total of thirty stands representing partner universities from 12 countries were showcased at the event.
SFedU students who have already participated in exchange programs shared their experiences: Karina Chelpan (Institute of History and International Relations), Denis Grebennikov (Institute of History and International Relations), Victoria Drobot (Academy of Psychology and Educational Sciences), Anastasia Luzhnova (Institute of Philology, Journalism and Cross-cultural Communication), Firuz Latypov (Institute of Computer Technologies and Information Security), and others. These students discussed various aspects of life, studies, and cultural immersion within their host countries and universities.
The event also featured international exchange students from China and Vietnam currently studying at SFedU, who presented information about their home universities.
In conclusion, organizers hosted an engaging quiz and lottery, where participants had the chance to win memorable prizes.
