From May 27 to June 3 in the village Shirokaya Balka hosted the XXXI International Conference "Mathematics. Economy. Education" and the XV Boris Golubov International Symposium "Fourier Series and their Applications".
The event was held within the framework of the Development Program and with the financial support of the SFedU Regional Scientific and Educational Mathematical Center (SFedU Scientific Research Center, Agreement of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 075-02-2025-1720 dated 02/28/2025), as well as with the support of the SFedU Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences.
The conference and symposium were dedicated to the blessed memory of Professor Boris Ivanovich Golubov (MIPT). The conference provided for the work of sections and round tables.
During the conference, scientists examined the fundamental problems of modern mathematics and their applications to economics, ecology, and natural sciences, and discussed aspects of modern education.
Alexey Karapetyants, Director of the Russian Scientific Research Center of SFedU, Professor of the SFedU Institute of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Science, delivered a plenary lecture "On a class of Hausdorff operators on interval". Oleg Avsyankin, Chief Researcher at the Russian Scientific Research Center of the Southern Federal University, delivered a plenary report "Projection method for integral operators with homogeneous and heterogeneous kernels." Maria Skopina, Chief Researcher at the RSEMC SFedU, made a plenary report "Frames of bursts in the space of M–positive vectors".
Students from SFedU and other universities were supported to participate in the conference.
