This year, 7 teachers became the best teachers-artists of the Rostov region, among them Evgenia Masalova, Associate professor of the Department of "Drawing" of the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts, Elena Goncharova, Deputy Director of the M.B. Grekov Russian Academy of Fine Arts, assistant trainee of the Department of Theory and Practice of Fine Arts, Olga Semchenko, a teacher of the SFedU Children's Architectural and Art School, teachers of the secondary schools N° 10 and N° 17 of Rostov-on-Don Oksana Kiseleva and Olesya Safontseva and teacher of the Dubovsky Medical School of Novocherkassk Anna Zorina.

The honorary badge "The best teacher-artist" is awarded by the expert Council of the International Union of Teachers — Artists under the chairmanship of Boris Nemensky, People's Artist of Russia, professor, academician of the Russian Education Academy and Russian Art Academy.

Also at the meeting of the Academic Council of the Academy, Acting Head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Fine Arts, head of the Regional Center for Architectural and Pre-University Training of SFedU, Chairman of the Rostov regional branch of the International Union of Art Teachers Natalia Tereshchenko was awarded a medal for "Contribution to the development of art education". This award is for many years of conscientious work, a great contribution to the development of the art education system, a high business reputation, active and conscientious mentoring.

The insignia was presented by Natalia Chemerisova, Director of the SFedU Academy of Architecture and Arts, a member of the International Union of Teachers and Artists.
