
Igor Anatolyevich Kalyaev, an outstanding scientist, professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was among the laureates of the Union State Prize in Science and Technology for 2025. The award was awarded for the development and implementation of high-performance information and computing technologies aimed at increasing the resource potential of the mineral resource base of Russia and Belarus.
The prize was awarded to the team of authors, which included leading scientists from Russia and the Republic of Belarus: Sergey Kruglikov, Vladimir Matyushenko, Oleg Chizh, Igor Melnikov, Vladimir Turchaninov and Igor Kalyaev. Their joint work made it possible to create innovative solutions that contribute to the development of the economy, social sphere and strengthen the defense capability of the Union State.
Igor Anatolyevich Kalyaev is a well—known specialist in the field of multiprocessor computing and control systems, the author of more than 350 scientific papers, including 11 monographs and 8 author's certificates. He is also a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, three times a laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation and a laureate of the Raspletin Prize of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Under his scientific supervision and with his direct participation, more than 120 research and development projects have been carried out, the results of which have been successfully implemented and used in various enterprises and organizations in the country.
Receiving the Union State Prize confirms the high level of Russian-Belarusian scientific cooperation and the importance of scientists' developments for the technological sovereignty of the two countries.
